look at the style and fit guide. durtschi is rocking the slims in multiple pics and he is 6'2 if you want skinnier pants than what he has get large, or do what i did and get pants from another company.

I did that all season of last season. Was never a problem for me, even when climbing peaks/out of bounds. I suppose the pow was both dry and not super deep though.
