I just got a new iPhone and with it I got a screen cover/protector. To apply the cover, you needed to use a liquid solution for it to stay on. However, when I was applying it, some of the solution got in the phone and there is now a "blotch" in the bottom left hand side of the screen. Nothing to serious, just some discoloration and a major piss off. Any tips on how to fix this? It's not under warranty, since it's considered water damage. I have been blow drying it and putting it in a bowl of rice. Anything else I can do? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Stop putting those on and go out and buy one these, you won't regret it.
There is a plastic screen cover and you can still use the touch pad perfectly, it has a exoskeleton that you put on and then put that rubber outside on, I've seen them fall off 2 story houses to concrete and be fine.
pictures would help because assuming you have an iphone 4, the lcd and digitizer and fused together so i doubt liquid would be able to seep between the two. with that said apple care is pretty lenient on many issues that they claim they wont cover under their policy so go talk to them and they might hook you up
Yeah, that's what I have. I use it when I'm skiing, or skating or something but it's pretty big so If I'm just out chillin I take it off so it can fit in my jeans. But all-in-all I'm super happy with it. Shit's bomb proof.
can get the lighter weight one as well, not quite as sold as the defender but it has the screen cover, is slimmer, and still has the airpockets to help protect it.
