Speakers and a Stereo to bump jams on the hill all day. Would keep the campers stoked and the vibe up there would be that much better. Plus it would make those High Cascade fools real jealous. I don't know if High Cascade has speakers but if they do they probably play nothing but gypsy classics from Bob Dylan or whoever they listen to these days. Just thought I'd throw that out there. hahaha
that being said, last year while indoor shredding, they were playing hardstyle all night long and we had the most ridiculous "hardstyle" ski session, i'm lookin for the footage, it was hilarious!
Was thinkin more just for when everyone is eating lunch and just hanging out but nevermind. Plus most people when they have thier mp3 players on they blast it so no one else can hear them. That's probably a good thing then when a coach is trying to help you right?
While with friends or like you mentioned, a coach-> sound off
just let the little part of cable with the volume controll stick out of your jacket and you can easily controll it without risk of snagging the cable or having to dig it out everytime
not really, canyons 2 years ago had a big feature 2 years ago that blasted music and on a sunny day it sets a great mood. sittin around cracking a beer watching friends hit features on a sunny day with loud speakers is different then 5 guys listening to their ipods in the same scenario.
First of all, no speaker could cover the whole park. If you had a rail setup, like a couple features next to eachother with some speakers than it could work. I definitely agree music does pump you up but I hate wearing headphones so id be all for that even though im not going to windells haha
this. i poured sweat for 7 days straight and was too lazy to shower. i wouldve swam in a pool though. thats one of the reasons why i am going to MHSSC. theres a lake
I hate skiing with people who ride with headphones- I can understand if your by yourself- but whenever you want to say something to them they stare at you and go hold up- stop the music- and then you can talk
plus like other have said I like listening to my skis
My mountain, Snoqualmie Pass, has speakers throughout the park and it's really dope. It all depends on which park crew member is controlling the playlist, but the music is legit. If they're playing cuts, everyone's happy and enjoying it. I've never heard someone complain about the speakers, just about the songs (which of course is just different taste). I feel you on that, I think it would be a very "Windells" thing to do.
cranmore has speakers and they play music all day buts its a radio station so theres like commercials and stuff but its pretty sick vibe and when i ski with headphones i either have them low but then i cant hear my music or have them loud but then i cant hear anyone else talking to me.
and windells has all the stuff it has but not a pool? thats odd
i think it would be sick to have loud speaker you aren't going to get "just the sound of the wind" at a place like windells anyway have a good dj and shit would pop
i could see them hiring a dj and bumpin music all day around the rail features where everyone is hiking.
also idk if its just me but i dont like putting my ipod in my pants pocket(cord is kinda short), it always goes in my chest jacket pocket. so i never ride with one in the summer on the glacier. would be sweet to have speakers.
the first song is one of my favs ever and the second one i am working on a cover for with my band if u posted this as a joke that makes me a huge looser oh well
drop the first song, do a cover of either the second, or "girls just want to have fun", seeing as you and (i assume) your band are all girls, and therefore you just want to have fun.
