yay!
its hard for me to believe that cuomo almost didnt sign this because both sides were yelling at eachother so much friday night. also, one of the senators i work for who is a democrat almost lost it after calling skelos' bluff and told him to go fuck himself.
Seriously. I just dont get some people's anger over this. So you don't believe in it, fine. That doesn't mean anyone else doesn't have the right to pursue their own happiness regardless of how it makes you feel. Nobody needs to live their life by someone else's standards if it's not hurting anyone else, and the holier-than-thou religious people can go get fucked AFAIC . Let he who is without sin cast the first stone, for real. We all have way too much to work on in respects to ourselves before we go trying to tell others how to live and love.
In all honesty though, homophobes crack me up. It's as if gays being allowed to exist unopressed somehow threatens your way of life or your "sexual safety". LOL at <16 year olds talking about personal ideals too. Just wait 'till one of your best friends comes out to you and you have to grow up all of a sudden and realize it doens't mean shit. Lots of people on here have a lot of growing up to do.
Yup, yay as well for New York. And I would also like to extend my thanks for the few Republican lawmakers who voted for passage of the law.
