Why would we ever let gay's get married...? it isn't right. They're not meant to get married, clearly. Don't destroy what the world has come to accept as "Marriage." Let them prance around like princess all they want, but do not let them get married.
marriage isn't sacred. not in america. in a country where you have the bachelor, the bachelorette, who wants to marry a millionaire, who wants to marry a midget, etc. gay people have just as much of a right to be as miserable as everybody else, and dont use the whole 'it's unholy, it destroys the union between man and woman bla bla bla' bullshit.
I was kidding children... Gay's should be just as equal as everyone else. It's America, freedom is what were known for. So then why take the freedom away of someone just because they like the same sex.

The constitution also doesn't say ar-15 in it anywhere, but those are fine.

Back to the original post, what I meant was what is keeping us from making this legal now? Clearly Catholicism is out and I thought that was one of the major reasons right
Why would we ever legalize Divorce? it isn't right. Marriage is not meant to be ended, clearly. Don't destroy the meaning of actually becoming "Married". I mean let all the fuckups and sluts get with everybody and there brother, but don't let them marry and screw it up.
I do not understand why the government cares... Marriage is a religious right. It has nothing to do with the government for any other purpose than taxation. I am catholic so obviously I disagree with gay marriage, but only on a religious level, as Catholicism recognizes marriage as between a man and a woman. If two dudes want to bang out in the privacy of their homes and want to get a tax break, who cares. If the government decided to just leave "marriage" out of it then all of the religious squabbling might quit. Call it a civil union, give it to every couple that walks into the court house, and at the end of the year let them get a tax break. end of argument.
As far as I'm concerned the more gays the better. For the most part they don't reproduce (exception turkey baster) and I'm all for a population decrease. Kill all the prisoners and tax the fuck out of everyone with more than one kid. I am also not sure how such incredibly liberal and conservative ideas clashed there.
Very creative answer there, but. Divorce happens because when you are married sometimes things happen. I.e. cheating, commiting a crime, or maybe even just something makes you not love them anymore. Then, divorce makes complete sense. Good try though =)
