get a sigma 10mm for your canon. looks AMAZING on an APS-C size sensor. i just bought one for my 7d and i am so astonished on the image quality. also, it'd be way easier to film everything on one camera instead of a t2i and a go-pro. also, the quality will look the same throughout the edit. hope this helps!
I agree, get the Tamron 17-50. I have it and absolutely love it! It's super sharp, fast and rivals the Canon 17-40 and you can get them pretty cheap on Ebay.
