Gnarly loved the in cab dash listenin to it chirp all the way down tge road....was that the1200 hp one? Was he completely tuned that night? Pro tip: never drag against a guy with a fucking chute on the back of his car haha

yeah- he was running 100 all weekend so closer to 950 mark- on c16 he hits 1248rwhp- but still- stupid fast


If anyone lives around maryland they do a track rental once a month at Maryland International- everything from 7 sec vipers to the worlds fastest bmw with bmw drivetrain to stock cars running all day- 10 bucks to spectate

its fun because its not completely muscle cars- both world record holders for mercedes benz, bmw, as well as some stupid fast audis, supras, twin turbo gallardo that the guy ends up taking people for rides in all day if you talk to him about his car lol-

just an awesome time- and if you wanna run your car 100 bucks unlimited passes 7am- 6pm

these guys and pradheep are the organizers- pradheep holds the world record for 1/4 mile in a benz

Gee how fucken cool they are, endangering other peoples' lives. You wanna be a racer then take it to the tracks, not a road filled with innocent bystanders to this stupidity.  They are bound to kill someone pulling shit like this.  Just imagine how this can end in absolute disaster.  Would you want to go to their funerals, or worse yet see some poor family slaughtered by a wannabe racer?

This isn't cool, it's immature and down right stupid when the consequences are checks their ass can't cash.

Ya..........how cop like and uncool of me to not be thinking how awesome and cool these guys are.  This shit causes death/injury and for what?  If not wanting to see someone die over some useless wannabe race car drivers being absolutely reckless, then I am the most uncool person ever.  If they want to race and risk their own lives that's one thing, but doing it on crowded public streets that involves innocent people is wrong.

How would you feel if someone you loved was killed by this bullshit?  You'd be singing a different tune no doubt.  These morons are doing it on crowded streets, and this is not worth someone's life.

Fast and furious movies are stunts by professional drivers on closed roads, and they would tell you this is dangerous and stupid.    Instead of telling me how I sound like a cop from those movies, maybe you should be telling these idiots that they aren't fucken the char toretto in said movies.

all I care about is racing- I dont car about other peoples lives, especially innocent people- actually I think it would be cool to cause a wreck- it would up my scene points by saying I was more core



and yeah Fast and the Furious is my life bro- that movie is in no way not related to car enthusiasts and describes anyone who has ever worked on a car perfectly.

Hate me all you want,  but it's not a game.  Why should anyone give kudos to anyone endangering lives?  One twist of fate could destroy a lot of people.  Why applaud that?

So what, I'm a sissy that should remove my tampon because I value human life and hate that these people end up shattering someones world? Sure whatever you say.  Go to an accident scene and see the carnage that this can and has caused, then come back and lets see if you say anything like that again.

You have got to be joking.  No matter how good you are, one thing goes wrong and it's over.  Skill level or knowledge means nothing when it comes to accidents.  Accidents don't just happen to novices.  What if something broke and it made them go out of control?  Racing is no where near totally controllable by anyone at all times.  Death can come to even the most experienced.

Not saying their knowledge of cars isn't great, and not saying they can't drive.  What I am saying is these guys are putting others at risk by doing this on open roads with regular traffic.  Why should they hold other peoples' lives in their hands to get a thrill?  

And no shit I'm not going to change any minds that think this is sooooo cool, but I saw the thread and I can speak my opinion if I want to.  You think it's so awesome that they have fast cars, I think it's foolish and wrong to do it in the environment they are doing it in.

I wouldn't blow off the Miata so quick. I used to think they were chick cars. We own a Mazda 5 now, which is the shit and I have been praying that Mazda when create a "speed" version of that. It's the same engine that's in the Mazda 3 Speed. That car is fast out out of the box. I always shoot the shit with the mechanic at the dealership and he says that the Miata is the most durable car Mazda ever made. He says people are always driving early models in for oil change only. They are like no maintenance. They are supposed to handle like a dream. I would think that sinking a turbo in a hardtop would be a super fun ride.

These were the original pimped out imports. Guys called them Scarabs. They would sink a 350 small block into a 240z. One of the sickest rides I ever saw was a willy's jeep with a 350 in it. The guy could throw it 4 wheel high and dust anyone off the line.

but thats exactly why miatas are so awesome! they have this chick car/ gay mans car reputation but the people who drive them dont give a shit cause they are having more fun than anyone else who isnt in a miata. plus its cool knowing your 120hp hairdresser car with springs and tires could destroy most 300hp sports cars on a track. though im not a fan of turbo miata's, it ruins the car IMO. gotta keep it an NA momentum car.
but an e36 m3 would be cool, especially an e30 if you could find one.

Chevy Small blocks are the fucking tits. Soooo cheap to make huge amounts of power without sounding like an overgrown weedeater.

Favorite conversion has to be that dude that put a 500 horse LS1 into a BMW Z3. Ive driven the little 2.5 Z3s and theyre quick, i just cant imagine the insanity of 500 horse in a car that small.
