meh. everyone in colorado has them and acts like they're the best skis ever created but I beg to differ. the alotta's were not fun at all and a super damp ski (basically one of those skis that old guys say is amazing because they haven't ever tried anything else)
Im guessing most of the people in this thread have maybe tested them once of heard bad things from other people. Faty-Pus skis are made in the same factory that Icelantic skis are made, which produces some of the most bombproof solid skis I've ever ridden. The Alotta with rocker is an epic ski if you have the snow for it. I have been nothing but satified with mine.
yeah bombproof, but damp as fuck. like said above they ski like 2x4's. try some other brands with a similar design/shape and I guarantee you'll like those better
A damp ski is not a bad thing dude...it all comes down to personal preference. Thats like saying fuck vanilla ice cream. Some people like it some don't.
I haven't ridden these skis but like I said one of Faty-Pus' strengths is the durability so i'm sure you can slay rails for days with them. All I know is everytime I see Delorme ski them I want a pair that much more.
this is true in almost any conditions, except blower pow. I skied them on a variable day and was unimpressed until I skied some decent pow. Still there's better skis out there for sure.
