so with the threads about salary expectations, and what you spend on food.. its mainly directed toward the "food expenses" thread..
I'm curious as to know how many of you guys who are voicing opinions and statements in those threads, how old you guys are and how many of you are actually living on your own right now, and not receiving money from your parents..
because i feel that those of you who are spending over 450 dollars a month (thats over 20 bucks a day) on your food, arent living on your own, unless you're making dece money. any college student, i doubt could afford that.
i feel that for 250 to 350 bucks a month, you can eat fairly decent. even if you live in an expensive part of the country. i live in So-Cal...
for dinner the other night, i made spaghetti, garlic bread, and a drink for like 7 bucks.
i eat out most of the time for lunch, so its like 4 dollars. and i rarely eat breakfast.
I would say i spend 10-13 dollars a day on food. take the average of that... 11.5, equals out to about 350 a month on food. and i could live even cheaper than that if i had to.
so how old are you and are you getting money from your parents to be able to spend that much?
are do you actually live on your own and work and still choose to spend that much on food?
