Vicodin on the brain

so i just got my wisdom teeth out and am condemned to hours on the couch in pj's. plus some vicodin perscribed to me haha. so any ideas of fun things to do in this state?

Actually, you are completely fucking wrong. Vicodin and Percoset are both about 95% acetemetaphin. I know this because I have a botle of Percs prescribed to me in my hand right now. 650mg acetemetaphin, 10mg oxycodone per pill. Vicodin are typically about the same ratio except they contain hydrocodone instead of oc. They are made this way so that it is difficult to use them as recreational opiates without causing serious damage to your liver. Maybe you should check your shit before you go around calling people idiots?

But to answer the op,  eat a nice meal then take one or more on top while watching your favorite movie. wait like 30 minutes between taking another though so you dont take to much at once. unless you weigh 50 pounds a bottle of 30 vicodin is gonna have a hard time killing you. but be careful because opiates depress your respiratory system, so if you take to much you will stop breathing.  but they are the best high by far so yeah enjoi

back in high school at my friends condo in the mountains I ate them for the first time (got them for free, didnt take any when i got my wisdom teeth out)I so I took 3, waited a half hour, bitched that they didn't do anything, ate 2 more and drank a few beers. 10 minutes after the last beer I was watching the world in slow motion and it felt like I was inside of a shag carpet. Needless to say I cut myself off after that.

They're pretty awesome if you are drinking a little too, but thats awful for your liver. Haven't had them since that night haha. Freshmen year a ton of my friends were hooked for awhile too

ur stupid to. hydrocodone needs first pass metabolism by the liver before it becomes the active metabolite. Snorting the cold water extraction is stupid, you wont feel any better than if you chew it and swallow it on an empty stomach, also the tylenol in vicodin will make you higher. it is bad for your liver but taking tylenol with anything will maximize its effects. so just take the pills as directed, but dont eat on top of them or you will shove them through your system before they are fully absorbed.

Actually Acetaminophen is a pain killer as well you dumb shit. nobody is Intentionally making a pain killer drug to harm your liver. Only Alcohol/heroin addiction medicine does that.when you drink alcohol or take heroin with the drug antabuse it makes you violently ill and if you drink enough (basically enough to feel a buzz) it can kill you.

According to medicinenet.com, the recommended maximum dose of acetaminophen in 24 hrs to avoid liver damage is 4000mg. This means that by taking the recommended dosage of 10-650 percoset (1-2 tablets every 4 hours) I am ingesting exactly 1-2x the recommended safe dosage of acetaminophen (depending on whether I choose to take 1 or 2 pills at a time). This obviously means that if I were regularly taking a large enough dose to get actually get high, I would be GREATLY exceeding a safe amount of acetaminophen to avoid liver damage.

I admit, I don't know for sure if the drug companies formulate percoset and vicodin purposely in the exact proportion so that anything above the prescribed dose puts you at risk for liver damage due to an OD of acetaminophen. But to me, that certainly seems to be the case. And please, don't call me a dumb shit. I know that Acetaminophen is a pain reliever as well. I may not be a fucking pharmaceutical scientist, but I am not just talking out of my ass.

Vicodin is hydrocodone, Percocet is oxycodone. Vicodin and percocet often have acetaminophen; on the bottle it'll say 15/325 APAP for example. That means 15 mg of hydrocodone or oxycodone and 325 of acetaminophen.

It honestly isnt that addicting dont throw them out theyre good to have on hard.  Maybe I dont have an addictive personality or bio chemistry but thats just me.  I broke/fractured 3 bones in my back this winter and was on morphine, than vicodin, that an IV or delaudid (which is AMAZING, not that im promoting it) I was actually hallucinating off it and having conversations with people in my head, it was some crazy shit.  Then I was pilled out on hydrocodone and valume.  All there gona do is gona make you wana sleep.  They relaly arent as cool as people make them out to be.  Youre gona float sorta like muscle relaxers but sorta not if that makes any sence.  Even then it isnt going to be that strong especially with the strenght theyre gona give you for your wisdom teeth.

thats what happens when you take excessive doses of any drugs to get high Hurr durr, it does damage and can kill you depending on your physiology and the dose. The oxycodone does damage to your body as well and if you try to contest that fact I will call you a fucktard. I'm assuming that you temporarily forgot that the liver is the detox factory of your body and takes on both ingredients of the drug.

im getting mine out in like a week. and then possibly knee surgery within a few days (assuming i go to the doctor and my knee that i hurt 3 months ago needs it) so i can get back to work asap. that will be a fun two weeks

But seriously, take caution with opiates. I was prescribed Percocet after my skin graft. I was taking like 4-5 a day for the first week because I needed to for the pain. A week after the surgery my donor site mostly healed up and I stopped cold turkey. I'm definitely feeling the withdrawal, but I just smoke a lot now (mmj patient). It helps with the pain on my burn site and with some of the withdrawal symptoms. Notice, SOME of the symptoms

When I broke my back skiing I thought that was the worst pain I'd experenced, after days of oxys, vicoden, and days of delaudid through an iv taking a poop about 10 days later even after taking bottles and bottles of stool softeners laxatives and everything you could buy,that first poop was almost as painful as messing up my back

It's really not that bad though. Recovery from this surgery is only about a month. Also, I got a free haircut and tattoo out of it. Now my skin looks like a spider web. I can post a picture if you want. I think it's really awesome looking
