looks like a cash grab, i'll probably just watch it on netflix or pirate it.
i never would have thought that the hangover would need a sequal, so i have a feeling they just copied the same plot line, switcched it up a little, and now everybody that loved the first one will go see it just because the first one was good.

Just got back from it and i was pretty disappointed. Every joke is predictable. It's all the same stuff. This one focuses on Allen too much in my opinion. He was awesome in the first movie but it's like they went over the top to make him weird and stuff and it just wasnt appealing to me.

There were some funny parts. Overall its good to watch once but I'll probably never watch it again. As opposed to the first one which I watched over and over.

Let's play hangover Madlibs, shall we?

SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go to bachelor party. Party hard. Wake up to find chaos and (a tiger/monkey) and that your friend (doug/asian kid)is missing. Also, you have (a missing tooth/tattoo) Go through (same bullshit) to find him. Chao is in the(trunk/icebox), pops out and kicks the shit out of everyone. You then find a (baby/monk) and haul it around. Get shit kicked out of you by (Mike Tyson/Crazy Monk). You then (Marry/recieve anal) from prostitute. Find out that Alan drugged you. Fight crime bosses who claim to have missing friend (doug/little asian kid). They don't have him. Give up hope, call wives only to realize that he was basically right were you were the night before with a (horrible sunburn/missing finger). Cue wedding scene and gnarly pictures.

I don't understand how people didn't like this movie. I just got back from the movie theater and I haven't laughed so hard at a movie in a really long time. It was funny as fuck. It was stupid, but you don't go to a movie like The Hangover expecting a phenomenal plot and a brilliant story. As far as mindless comedies go, I thought it was great.

it wasnt as good as the first. same thing all over again. i was hoping they were going to make it a little more new. a little more branched off of the first, but it was basically an alternate, aside from those jokes that were like 'oh this AGAIN' and whatnot, making reference to the first. but i didn't laugh nearly as hard as i did at the first one. it was just a bit more ridiculous with the exact same story. in fact, i think less was explained in this one. like the kid cutting off his finger? "oh haha no big story there, just oops".

still a good one to watch though. me and my friends got mildly intoxicated and sat in the theatre stuffing our faces with poutine and sour patch kids. was a great night. great movie to watch with your boys and just kick back and laugh.

Just wasn't funny at all. I had no expectations and i might have chuckled once or twice. The photos at the end were the only remotely funny part. If you enjoyed this movie, you must be slightly retarded.

If you liked the hangover and, upon leaving the theatre, wished that they would remake the movie except set it in Thailand and make it less funny, then yes.

i disagree. i thought it was equally as funny as the first one except the fact that it was completely unoriginal took away from it. would i waste my money going to see it in theaters again...? no. just wait for dvd release or watch it online.

The plot of the first one wasn't what made it funny. It was all the one-liners and funny shit going on inside the plot. So I think the sequel should be worth watching for myself.. Although I have to get someone to sneak me in. Damn.

What I've been telling to my friend for a while now. Theatre here is 11 $ CAN , why would I pay that much if it's not crazy to see with our eyes. I'd rather see a good story/cinematography movie at theatre. Eventhough I loved the first one, I'll wait.
