It's doubtful Causwell got rid of Pollard.
Here's a couple reasons I can see Pollard leaving, among many others -
Pollard is an adult with a wife, and possibly at some point in the future a family if they so decide, if skiing is his career, he can't be paid in gear, which is a downfall of small companies.
Causwell is one branch of Surface, which also owns Bula, Joystick, etc. I'm sure there's pressure to join up.
Being a well-known, innovative and popular skier, He likely is able to join up with a company with a better reputation, better quality, and more resources to promote him and do what he wants with the outerwear.
Or, someone gave him more money.
And to whoever mentioned The North Face, what's wrong with that? TNF is a wonderful company that makes really high quality gear. I would be stoked for EP if that's where he ended up.
