Wedding gift ideas?

So a good friend of mine is getting married and i can't make it to the wedding because of exams, but i really want to send them a gift....

So, background info,
he's a freestyle skier,
lives in france
has a farm with cows
's got a little 2y old daughter
loves to party

I'd love to give em something ski/mountain related but i seriously have no idea what i could give ....

Bear in mind i must be able to ship the item to them since i can't make the trip myself
(at least not before the wedding)

all good ideas will be generously rewarded with virtual cookies !

i like the knife idea, cause i know how much i'd appreciate a gift like that, but i'd like to give em something they can both enjoy, or maybe i should include something for his wife as well?

or is it more custom to only give wedding gifts to one half of the couple ? (i'm really new to all this wedding gift stuff)

maybe new gloves if it has to be ski related? otherwise id go with something to spruce up the house like maybe a new table arrangement with placemats and napkins and shit

Maybe a "beer of the month" or "wine of the month" type of thing. Something they could both use.
