Go with Vail if you have a chance, maybe Breck. Most of the summit county resorts are $80 plus for a ticket, and paying an extra $20 for Vail is more than worth it. Copper's mountain sucks, their park sucks, and you won't have fun in their town. Keystone's park is great, heard word they might be downsizing which would cut keystone out entirely, their mountain fucking is aweful, and they don't have much of a town at all. Breck's park is sick, their mountain is pretty good for summit, and their town is probably the best in summit. Vail's mountain is sick (not a lot of steeps though, but none of summit has much anyways), their park is decent at best, and their town would more than please your wife (might hurt your wallet though). Aspens pretty sick, you may also want to look into that if you can get a deal on tickets/a four pack of some sort. Your wife would love the vibe and town. Snowmass' parks are fun, and buttermilks are as well. Beaver Creek has a pretty good mountain, decent park, and decent town but will likely run you a pretty penny. Sorry for being a dick/trying to get this dude the best trip.
You might want to look into renting a place in frisco, dillon, or silverthorne. The rates for renting places are a lot lower than at a mountain, and they are approx 5-30 minutes driving time to abasin, keystone, breckenridge, copper, vail, loveland, and beaver creek so you could get a nice sampling for cheaper than staying at just one resort. Thats assuming you're flying to Denver and will be renting a car. PM me if you'd like more details.
