Hey guys, went out and filmed 5 or 6 holes of golf on a rainy and cloudy day. Wasn't really looking to do anything with it as It was more just something for me do to with my afternoon.. Anyways, Here it is, check it out and let me know what you think. A lot of repetitive shots and angles I know. How are my colors?

That was pretty darn sick, good vibes and all that. I don't know enough to critique something like that, but I really enjoyed it. also I have the same (nike) golf shoes.

Some of the sots seemed cut up in an unnecessary manner, it was more distracting than visually appealing.

I didn't like the focal pull shot at 00:30 it really didn't serve any purpose.

You seemed to cut just a touch late quite a few times. Really try to get those right on the beat.

Over all it was pretty cool. The focus pull puts were very well done, and I thought your color grading was really nice.

Just wondering, what was this filmed on?

Like I said above, didn't really edit too much. Just wanted to put something together for fun and work on my color grading. So some of the beats are off, I know. The focal pull at 30 seconds was to show the green, but it didn't really turn out very well. Only shot that would have fit in at all before the putting. And it was all shot on 7D w/ 50mm 1.8. Arghhhh I want that lens! I dont know much about filming and thought it was gonna be terrible once I read your description but I ended up loving it haha.

Yeah I thought about a tripod once I got there. Pretty much just picked up my camera on the way out the door. Normally I like shooting hand held better though. But for some shots, yes it would have been nice. Thanks!

I thought it was pretty sick and most of your focus pulls were great. I don't really know how the light was but the only real critique I have is that you should close you aperture sometimes. Its seems like it was cranked wide open for every shot. Maybe kick you're ISO up next time so you can close your aperture and mix your shots up a bit,

Wut...it said in the vimeo description you shot with a Tonika 11-16? Unless I'm doing something wrong they arent $100...

Haha read a little more carefully. One shot in the edit was with the Tokina, all the rest was with the 50 1.8.
