Replying to Magic Lantern Focus Peak/Crop Marks

Just got Magic Lantern on my T2i. I have to say I am disappointed with some of the features. I find the Focus Peak to be horrendous, which was something I was really excited for. Zebra Stripes is alright so far indoors, I haven't really had a chance to test it in the daylight.

Does anybody have any tips for improving, or effectively using, for that matter, the Focus peak tool? It just doesn't really seem that accurate to me.

Also, does anybody have a crop mark that's a 2:1 - 2.15:1? I would love that.

It's not a big deal I guess, I'm willing to do all this by hand, but I was very stoked to try the peak focus with a skate edit.
