Anyone ever used a temp agency?

I use temp agencies a fair amount during the summer just to make extra cash on the side. Ive done everything from setting up stages downtown for summer concerts to driving around on a golf cart at a golf tourney moving random shit. I've had some weird hours, working from midnight to 5 in the morning, but it all depends on the job. It's definitely a great way to make some extra cash, specially if you're between jobs. And the people who usually use temp jobs can be pretty interesting too

i worked for one last year and it lasted about 2 days. I couldnt deal with the level of stupidity that the people on the jobs had.

i dont know what that is, would someone explain?

I've worked temp for about five different companies, such as Adecco and Manpower.

Jobs that I've been offered and took have differed from sticking your hand into a crate of oranges to see if they are rotten to being a temporary accountant in a large law firm.

The money has always been good for a student and it's more manageable to sort out your schedule rather than having a permanent job with shifts during studies.
