Anyone else find this fucken disgusting?

big j, the color wheel theory doesn't apply to just skin color, facial and other physical characteristics also fit into a free flowing spectrum. thats the point is that all of these characteristics are indistinguishable - except for our own ideal or average associations.

ignorant racists often try to suggest that their race is superior to others, ex: american white supremicists. they look at blacks in america and evaluate their common cultural differences in combination with their social standing in order with the main objective being, to prove that they are inherently inferior. the problem is that they don't realize they have only selected what they associate with 'black'. you simply cannot draw a line on race and that's why no scientist, no matter how disillusioned and vehemently racist, has been able to prove a heirarchical structure of superiority.

besides racism really stems from a lack of understanding and a complete ignorance for cultural relativity - the idea that you cannot evaluate another culture based on the criteria of your own. i'll give an example, it wouldn't be appropriate for a mx judge to evaluate skiers in a slopestyle comp - he/she wouldn't have the sensitivity for our sport.

Seriously guys, I think as skiers, we need to keep it pure. I mean first of all, if we ever have an interracial baby, blacks might start skiing, and be good at it, and because they are athletically superior, they would put all of us white boys to shame. For the last year I have been dating a native american. and while I can go on the tangent of hating piot because of his views would be easy, it would only feed into the hatred and ignorance more. Ultimatly I dont hate him for his opinion, I only feel sad that someone can be consumed with such hate over such a nonissue. because I am truely happy in the relationship which i am in, so whats the problem? Scientifically, through evolution aren't we really all the same race anyway? Did humankind not start in more or less one place. From there, through many many years of slowly spreading to different parts of the world, did our species not evolve into these so-called different races due to different environmental conditions and cultural emphazises? This is how I see it anyway.

Mikee's comment really annoys me. I'm racist in my own way and I admit it but I don't go around saying shit. People who say things like what Mikee said are just ignorant. At least with Piot said was fueled by personal preference and not ignorance (although some of you would disagree). I personally couldn't give less of a fuck what colour my own skin is. Well, I'd probably object to being dyed neon orange, but if I was black or phillipino or whatever, it wouldn't make any really noticeable difference to me. Heh...The only reason I might be against me being black is that nobody I know would recognize me. Honestly, I don't exactly think I WANT all the races to blend into one colour (I'm all about variety), but I do wish everyone would stop looking at it as such a profound difference. As I've tried to point out through sarcasm, it's not really all that different from the colour of your hair or your eyes, or your height. There are no real 'races'. That's proven; read Ashley Montagu, he has diagrams upon diagrams, there's no way I'm going over that crap).

i really dont think i have been more disgusted by any topic on this forum. this is seriously the most pathetic, least thought out, ignorant and immature topic ever. it tears me apart to see that i am stuck still living in a society where people discriminate solely on looks or shade of ones skin. while racism exists and I acknowledge that it surrounds us day to day, I also know that race itself does not exist.
