Look bindings

i was looking on their site, and i noticed the px 12 ti jib, and i was wondering what the difference of that and the normal px 12 jib?

and just if you know, how much does the pivot way?

the difference between the ti and the regular is the ti has titanium components. it is a bit more burly.

imagine that they weight pretty close to every other binding you have ever used, binding weight isn't really an issue unless you have a crap ass demo plate.

also it says that the ti has a fks heel piece? any difference between that and the px heel piece?

i dont think thats right. somebody correct me if i'm wrong, but the fks has the pivoting heel piece. i thought the ti was the same as the other, just with titanium

you sure you are talking about the px heel piece? It doesn't have the fks heel piece.

The pivot has the fks heel piece because look makes rossi bindings.

But the px heel piece doesn't swivel. There is a big difference.

I don't think it's a mistake, I think they mean that the heel is the same (as in the heel cup, Din setting screw and display etc). If you look at it, it looks similar to the fks, but the bottom part where your heel actually rests is not at all the same. It doesn't turn.

i have the look px 12 jibs and they are a little heavy but i like them (i have afterbangs so it really doesnt matter i really dont like the afterbangs)

because the fks has a low profile. The px12 is rather bulky. Just look at the two there is barely anything to the fks binding.

The heel-piece on the px12s is much bulkier then the heel found on the pivots.

hahaha, markers not that bad for me, i only weigh like 130 pounds and im a type 2 skier. also would the pivot 140's be to high of a din for me, if im at 6?

just a question, why does it matter if you are low on the binding, like ill be at 6 and the lowest they go is 5. why is that bad?

Well The din setting is more accurate if it is set somewhere in the middle since it all goes by a spring. So I would go for 12s.
