seriously children.. seriously. theres too much confusion with the trick names for skiing. your calling rodeos misties, your calling front flips 1080s, i dont know, we need to straighten this out.. i say we all contribute to making a page on newschoolers.com listing all of the PROPER trick names, with a discription of that trick, maybe a picture or a video. we must STOP THIS SATANIC CONFUSION BEFORE IT DESTROYS US ALL!! we all contribute. we confirm the trick name and discription BEFORE we put it up where it cannot be destroyed..

there is already a page for this but it is all unorganized. i think we should just go through and edit the tricks that are already on there and add a picture under them.

Ya, Ceddy's got some good stuff. I really think that the best way to ski is to observe, mimic and make it your own, and if you're really good try to invent your own tricks.

you must have a name for grabs and spins and such. its just not right to say 'i did manuver in which i crossed my skis, grabbed the tail of the left ski with my left hand, span a full 360 degrees plus another 180 degrees, and landed backwards..'

how about we forget about trick names and do shit that looks coo. i'm over hearing everybody bitch about what shit is or isnt called... everybody all over the world has there own names for certain tricks, so its impossible to decide what should be what.... so just smile, have fun, and ski. sound good? i think so.

so you want this to turn into the FIS....who cares what it is as long as it looks cool. A 540 is a 540 and a 720 is a 720 no matter if it's corked, bio, or straight up and down. I think we need to quit worrying about trick names and just ski for the fun of it. peace

ok...so you walk up to your friends and say 'yeah, i just did a sweet ass styled out flip thing where i went back then turned over and spun out and stuck it backwards'....and they go...???????? we need names...and it's quite easy to figure names out once you know them....if someone made a trick page with all the trick, the right names and put up vids for each, it would be so easy. I think ced could do a really good job, i think i could too, there's lots of people out there who know what they're talking about, the only people who dont know are the ones who make up retarded names and then tell other people they're wrong....so i've lost where i'm going with this, but we do need a trick page, and we do need people to stop complaining about trick names, we need them, they're easy, we cant get along without them.
