It's that time of year again! What shit have you bought for this coming season??

for me, I just got:

L Oakley Regiment Jacket - White

2XL White Crew neck (walmart)
XL Black Thermal (walmart)

BTW  Those 20k Holden pants are not waterproof and pick up snow pretty rough.  I had them last year and I got erally wet quite often.  I am in the PNW though.  Just fyi for how $$ they are/were.

i had them, and they are perfectly waterproof. The outer layer is real, cotton denim, which picks up water, but it never crosses the waterproof membrane.

I have gotten the outside soaked, but never wet on the inside.

Alright...Just thought i'd give you a heads up.  Mine would actually soak through.  Wet snow stuck on them long enough casued the membrane to fail I believe...But hey if they worked for you awesome.

Thats not the issue, I've had jackets that have lasted me 4+ years still with full/close to full waterproofing.  Its how snow clings to the material.  Nothing is 100% waterproof.  Extended exposure is the worst.

My orage had a denim styled shell, the snow would stick and would make the liner cold and make me think it was wet but it never soaked through, similiar situation. Then my mom thought she was being nice and tried to wash them in the wash..... :/
