How to save battery?

So im going on a trip, wont be able to charge my phone...but just want to try to see if i can keep my phone with battery the entire trip. I have an iphone 4, my 3g is turned off and ill lower the brightness...any other tips?

when you lower brightness, turn on auto brightness. also turn off wifi and bluetooth, cause otherwise it will lose battery searching for connections. um lets see what else. change ur background to just the colour black, something that takes little light to emit. turn the sound completely off, and dont lock the display. or you can just buy a solar recharger, its all up to you

put a teaspoon of salt under the battery. It will insulate the battery and extend the life

Turn it off when you're sleeping or in areas where there won't be any service.
