I live in Central Wisconsin and we just got hit hard by tornadoes. My house is fine but a campground and trailer park is flattened and many people are hurt. The news says that there are tornadoes all the way down to Texas. Any other NSers in bad weather today????? I hope everyone is alright!

Thanks but I'm not the one that needs the vibes send them to the injured! The helicopters are flying in and out picking people up and the scanners are going crazy with calls from trapped victims.
Did it rain in Madtown?

it got that bad? shit I heard it on the news they didn't make it seem that it was total destruction. Also to all valley people in the northeast the weather guy said tornados possible this week from the same storm system. so be careful ns.

yeah, it was looking pretty sketchy for a short time, but was over very quickly. north/central WI has been getting fucked by the weather this year.

There was a tornado in north Minneapolis this afternoon, but only one death thankfully. Just raining now though.

No word on deaths here but multiple people in the heli to the hospital. I went out and looked around and there is a line of downed trees probably 250 feet wide that goes across the area. I've never seen tornado damage so soon after the fact so maybe someone know if its called something besides a tornado when the trees are all flattened one way rather than ripped right out of the ground? Straightline winds?

Me and my buddies went rafting down old mans creek south of Iowa City today and scrambled to get off the water as we saw the storms come in. We watched the whole system from my buddies house and about 3 tornados touched down about 2 miles north of his and my house. Alot of farms and such were damaged and a tornado went through the southern part of North Liberty but idk about the damage there. Overall we got pretty lucky again.
Oh and i saw a mountain lion today....

vibes to everyone, almost never have tornados or thunderstorms where i live, but oddly enough last thursday we had a t-storm and there were two lightning strikes on my school's campus.
