Colter Hale Spring Edit. Critique Please.

post up your thoughts. I wasn't really planning on making an edit out of this until a couple days ago when Colter asked me to for a sponsorship. Filmed about a month and a half ago.

Overall very good. But I'd say ditch the vignette and I wasn't a big fan of that song.

I enjoyed the skiing, and the edit was put together alright, but I'd ditch the vignette.

Yeah I feel you on that. I edited on a very large computer screen and didn't really realize when I was applying the vig how strong it would look when not on full screen, ended up applying way more than I normally do

1:32 that is a wicked sick shot, the edit was good but the audio sounded like shit, the song wasn't bad it just sounded rough

Yeah gotta agree with the others, wasn't a huge fan of the song and for some reason the song sounded pretty low quality. I liked the footage overall though so good job.

pros:
good use of slow motion and normal speed
good angles for the rails

cons:
poor song choice
vig was slightly too strong


however, still dope! good work man!

I liked the filming and editing (except the vignette through the entire thing) and it sounds like you turned the song up in post? Wouldn't do that and as mentioned could have used a better song.

No that's just lil b. A lot of his songs are pretty poor quality, but for some reason i just cant listen to enough lil b. I was expecting the song hate.
