How do you cut down poles?

I know there are probably tons of threads on this but i searchbar'd and didn't find anything.

I was just wondering how does one go about cutting down one's poles. Any help would be appreciated!

Just take off the grips and hacksaw them to the length you want.

I put the grips in a pot of boiling water so they heat up enough so that they are able to be pulled off, then I take them off, cut however much I want to cut off, and put the grips back on just like I would do with a golf club.

1.) rubber mallet

2.) hit the bottom of the grip till it pops off

3.) put in vice and hack saw it down to the length you want

4.) put handle back on

5.) go ski and look like a goon
