Review on Bogen Manfrotto 701 RC2.

Like the title says, i need a review on this product, is it worth 100? some people say it does not stay level... So, reviews? recomendations?

i did google, some people said it was great, some said it didnt stay level.

I've used a friends 701 RC2 and absolutely hate it!
Terrible panning and tilting, just not smooth at all.  Also the quick release plate sucks, and all these other little things.
When I put something small on it like a t2i, it still sucked. With the 701hdv I've been able to mount an ex1 on it, and it still performs well.
I just sold it and bought a 503hdv....kinda missing that 701hdv..
The 701hdv is definitely worth the little extra cash

701hdv is a great head. Just got mine and I love it. I did hear that the pan-lock screw can get in the way of a slider plate though...

Get this. Same price and from manfrotto, the head I have and i really like it. I havent used other heads much but this has a really smooth pan and everything. i liked it a lot better than my friends 701. Anyone who has had more experience with this head want to add to this?

I have one and I love it. Its very smooth and to be honest i like it better than some 501 setups i have used. I have this one
