Drop-in using tarp?

I will make a drop-in using tarp, because I dont know where to get turf in Finland, so what kind of tarp is good? I have found some pretty thin and some very thick tarp.

I have no experience using tarps. Someone else posted that a pool tarp worked really well. It was something that someone gave them and they could not give any details on the tarp. Sorry that I am not much help with this.

Go for a thicker one if you have to use a tarp. It will probably cut though.

I think the thicker will not slide very well, bacause its heavy duty tarp and it has some pretty thick plastic on it.

I have a drop in using tarp for the actual drop part and then turf on the tranny and jump. The tarp I have is really slick so its damn fast but its hard to edge on. I went to a construction store and they gave it to me for free when I bought some wood. Tarps work well
