is there any places in the east that one could hike to and ski above treeline, beside tucks? i dont really wanna call it bc, because its not really backcountry skiing, but if u guys have any ideas just tell me

life is like a bowl of lucky charms....
that can be seen in two ways. the first is that, a lot of life is bad, like the wheat thingys in it, but then you have the marshmellows, which are sweet and the good parts of life.

The second way is like, you have hearts, stars, rainbows, clovers, red balloons, pots of gold, and I think thats all of them (?). So those symbolize all the different people you meet.
hearts-family
starts-people who shine
rainbows-diversity
clovers-lucky
redballoons-everyday people?
pots of gold-rich ppl
horse shoes-luck


I donno, one of my good friends said it once when he described my high school, and it kinda stuck on me

what about Jay? I dont know I've never been to vermont, but I was once in this lost town past Tremblant up here in Qc, there was a huge hill with no trees but it had no chair, and few people or no people were sliding it, I was there during a snowstorm for a hockey tournament, and I didnt have my skis, but it looked sick. I think the town is called 'L'annonciation'

also people told me when u do tucks u can take the cog railway and ski down from there in the spring. is this true?

yea cannon does have some, if u go to mittersil. i ski there all the time, and i kinda forgot about that. if u drop off the back side on the hike to mittersil, u go all the way around and shit and my dad did it and it takes u past the base of mitt

hey Bristol Rider, the only access to the Chic Chocs is by helicopter and you need a guide, it cost less for a trip to the west coast

okay. first of all, life is not at all like a bowl of lcuky charms. the wheat things are even coated in sugar, so even those taste good, and could be a cereal in and of themselves, they're basically frosted cheerios with birth defects, and second of all, no, jay peak has nothing. at all.

If you guys want some good east coast steeps...the thunderbolt ski trail, on mt greylock in adams, MA. Its basically in my back yard, each year a crew of people who ski it clear it out so its real nice, my science teacher/soccer coach runs the thing, and he got a state grant a few years ago to create a documentry about it, its really nice, and they used to hold huge state championship races their back in the 30s i think it was, people from all over the world used to come and ski it, its a pretty good hike up, but usually you can find a sled who will gladly bring you up, hit me back if anyone wants more info.

alright u wanna see some awsome skiing in maine there is a mountin called baldpate hike to the very top it will b quite a hike but with enough snow i garantee it will b worth it

yea don'y go to bretton woods becasue it does suck never mind any backcountry skiing. Thought they gained alot of respect from me when they gave Killy a run for there money for the last mtn to close in the east. Killington was actually supposed to close May 1st, but was kept home an extra week and a half, while bretton woods made it to May 8th, I dunno if Bretton Woods had any involvment on Killy having to stay open or not cuz I know they wouldn't want to lose there slogan first to open last to close to a mtn like Bretton Woods
