ya who doesnt need 67 sticks of deoderant 201 bottles of tide and 1800 loaves of bread for $5.43..........kindof fucking retarded. unless you started a legit basement grocery store
i watched this show for like 3 hours...the grocery store had to pay some people because they used so many coupons..and the purchase was like a couple hundred dollars
Hah I saw a thing on the news about this. Companies are pushing back and limiting coupons and shit. Those peoples fucking garages look like they are ready for the next nuclear fallout.
watch the show once and you'll never have to watch it again, because it will always seems like a repeat.
And these people are simply organized hoarders. Nothing more. They don't buy shit because they need it, they buy it because it's cheap, despite the fact that they will never need it.
"oh, i can get 9,000 toothbrushes by using all these coupons...i'm sure I'll need those eventually."
You know what i do? I spent 5 minutes planning...then spend $50 on food. Then when it's gone, i'm satisfied that i got what i needed, i enjoyed it, and I'm not wasting time nor money.
These people spend as much time going through coupons as i do at work, but then buy 1000x more shit than they need.
will say, if i was a cashier and saw one of these people coming...I'd quit on the spot.
I am pretty sure working is better. That girl saved 200 bucks but I'm pretty sure she spent a crazy amount of time looking for coupons.
A transaction like that must take at least 15 minutes, the cashiers must be so pissed when people like that come to their line. I know I would. They're looking for every detail it's ridiculous.
I really don't think that it'll keep happening. I bet stores will start limiting the number of coupons per household or something.
Also, where I'm from we're not allowed to use coupons on anything that is on sale. That's the reason they save so much.
I don't understand why these people don't go out and get a real job instead of just flipping through finding coupons for 35 hours plus a week.
Who needs that amount of shit in their basement? They must all have gigantic houses to store the 54 bottles of detergent and 115 bottles of pain reliever, 7634 bottles of ketchup etc.
Fucking win. I don't care what other people say that its a waste of this or that, gimme my 50 sticks of deodorant, 300 toothbrushes and 200 bags of pasta, I'll use that shit like a pimp for $6!
Most people actually donate the extra stuff they get. If they don't, though, I think that's a bit greedy. Nothing wrong with giving to the poor, though. I think if you're extreme couponing for the good, that's awesome.
This is pretty unreal. A person could make a lot of money by inventing computer software that would scan every coupon and the organize them so you don't have to clip them out.
Ive seen a few episodes.
With the exception of the people who donate stuff what the fuck are you going to do with 163 bottles of Mountain Dew, 128 boxes of cereal, 100 bottles of Excedrin PM before it all expires?!
They buy the most unhealthy, processed, sugar filled crap.
Yeah exactly. The first time i watched it the other night there was this huggeeee lady on there. And she bought no joke 15 cases of diet coke and sprite, a shit load of frozen pizzas and a lot of candy.
Cool you save a couple hundred dollars but you are fat and unhealthy as shit.
Watched like 2 hours of this show on a plane to Vancouver. Holy hell, those people are nuts. I mean extreme couponing sure it's pretty sweet, buts you need 10 years worth of cake mix? Nope. It's just like saying "LOL youare too dumb and I took all the coupons I can buy your whole store har har . I mean what kind of family with kids under the age of 8 needs thousands of bottles of Gatorade?
^That's what I don't understand. Why do they buy things in such mass quantities? I get that they're getting a good deal and all, but those people literally have no room in their homes due to having to store everything. Why don't they buy, say, 10 tubes of toothpaste instead of 100?
