Hey I am selling my Panasonic AG DVX100B. I haven't used this camera in awhile as far as filming projects. I didn't get into film class at school and preferred to ski over film when I had the chance to go, so this has been sitting in it's case all winter. I bought this used last summer around this time on dvxforum.com and it had roughly 165 hours on it. Unfortunately I never put enough time into it to make it worthwhile and use it, so I am looking to sell it.
Now the reason it is so cheap is because I went to get it serviced the other day as far as a general head cleaning and received the invoice today. Turns out that it was returned unrepaired, cleaning was attempted, but needs replaced video heads and must go to factory. For the time I have had it, it has mainly been in the case, but when I have used it, it was taken under excellent care.
Essentially you are buying a camera that needs this repair, however it is being sold as is, hence why it is listed at $600. The camera also comes with an extra battery pack, pelican 1500 case, manual, DVX book, charger, extra lens (B and W 72?), as well as a verizoom. The camera has only 172 hours and is in great condition, besides the head issues.
