Michael Overbeck 2010/2011 Slideshow. Feedback Please!
This was my very first season shooting ski photography, I have owned a camera for about 1 and a half years now, I hope to own it for many years to come. I am 14 now and hope to make a living as a photographer by the time I'm 24. I had probably the best winter ever here in Whistler! Can't wait for the next one!
Every shot was taken in Whistler or on Whistler Blackcomb mountains!
If you have any questions just ask! And it'd mean a lot if all you would share this video around the web! Also I'd love some feedback!
Thanks to all the skiers that had to put up with me throughout the winter and thank you to Whistler Blackcomb for having the best ski resort in the world!

When choosing this song to go with the slideshow I envisioned I wanted a deep song to get your mind focused souly on these amazing skiers doing what they live for.
You can't let your body be trapped in a cage. Live life.
"Eye's" Is as if it's a possessive, as in "Eye's house is much nicer than Michael's house." "Eyes" is the plural. So, you're looking for "Eyes Wide Open".
I see a few of those photos are a little over contrasty (are you shooting RAW? be easy on your "clarity" slider). I think I noticed a little haloing from dodging and burning.
Besides that, you had a lot of really nice photos in there. Some near the beginning which had nice framing, even though the subject was not all that impressive) and some near the end of the jump, which were especially impressive and edited really well.
I would keep learning, practicing and reading about gear, technique, processing, as well as different forms of artistic and commercial photography. Starting so recently and producing these pictures shows you've got a lot of potential, keep it up and you will be able to be making living by 24 easy.
