I was at my church group today, and our priest (usually really happy, good guy) was so scared and quiet. He showed us this, and we're all pretty scared right now. Im not sure what to think anymore.

Lets keep the bible bashing to a low, i want to show my church community some serious input. My priest said we only have so many hours to reconcile, and i agree

as a Christian myself, i find this totally absurd. these assholes r just trying to get more people to turn to God by scaring them, anyway even in the Bible it says that no one knows when the end is going to happen, i read some of the things these people have to say and its just gibberish, they just keep rambling on. and the Bible also says alot of times that He is coming back with fire, not a huge earthquake, these people are a disgrace...

his exact prediction is that at 6:00pm (neglected which time zone) on may 21st earthquakes will hit and shake the earth to its foundation. We will assume that he's predicting this with a US time zone so we shall know by 11pm EST if we choose to include Hawaii.

Catholicism is a denomination of Christianity. just like baptist or methodist or orthodox or mormon or any of those. they all make up the religion of christianity. and according to the dudes from the weird link god hates gays because everything in the bible has to be taken completely literally.

correct me if im wrong. BC stands for before christ.... so... judging from the sentence above, jesus christ was born 7 years before the birth of jesus christ... that makes no scence

me and my friends are sacrificing what our preists calls first indulgences (strongest indulgences we personally have, like videogames, mines skiing:/) at the church tomoro. Ive come to accept his salvation. Guys, please do the same.

You stand to be corrected. BC does stand for before Christ, but the year 0 is not when Jesus was actually born. Whoever made it up got it wrong.

I'm pretty sure that "God" thinks homosexuality is a sin. In my books, if you find someones sexual preference to be a sin, I believe that is hate. In the documentary, Prop 8, they talk about how "God" hates gays.

If you TRUELY believe that the world will end, whats the point of dying with money in a bank account? give it to someone who doesn't think the world will end and make them happy. If you are reluctant to do this then it shows that you don't really believe the end is here and you are trolling us all.
