Definitely for fun, which most often includes getting better by saying "Hmmm, what if I tried this stupid idea."

I like comps as well, I get so much adrenaline pumping in a comp.

getting better = fun

some of my most fun weekends this season were the weekends that i learned stuff and got a lot better, thats the point of skiing in my opinion: to get better

usually i just cruise. dont really get intense too often, and if I do try something new, it's usually just a spur of the moment thing while cruising.

as far as the WAY i ski, i like to go fast, tap stuff, go huge on side-booters, and do transfer lines.

fun... relax.... then competitive... like a gentlemen's race. or fallow the leader..


last year at the end of day i was shot... but some kid in tall ts was like hey.. race to you to the bottom.. and i was like.. oh fuck its the fuck on.... human slalom and i won... almost killed some people but i fucking won.

all of the above. sometimes i ski for fun in the park and on the sides of the hills and just try to do fun things. sometimes i really want to learn a new trick and i train for future competitions. i also compete and take things kinda seriously. and i also like relaxing and finding hidden pow stashes and such. so many ways to ski
