No one acknowledges sammy enough. Favorite skier ever, most distinctive style, and he charges harder with more spirit than anyone out there. I don't care what ya'll think, Sammy is a boss.

the dude grabs blunt all the time, did you even watch any of those edits? plus he did lots of double japans and truckdrivers back in the war/ski porn era. and i happen to like his style

Saw him get in a fight with brady perron at hood about using no-poles. oh the drama of being a pro skier. Damn good skier and reps my home mountain well but I think the few times I've been around him he was pretty conceited

really? i've met him a few times and the first we were just on top of a jump and he was like, who wants a free shirt its under my bag!

the next time, we were in hood river with some homies at the skate park and we look over and we're all whispering too each other like "is that sammy c?" and he came over and just started talkin to us, super chill guy!

I HATE THIS.

It was cool, and it demonstrates crazy air awareness and control, but doing random pokes on ungrabbed 7's just has gotten a little boring.

No, but Sammy's style is awful to my eyes. I'd rather see Andreas over him any day. Sammy is definitely a sick skier, but like somebody else said, all I ever see him do is grab mute, safety and japan, and it gets pretty tiring to watch after a while.

always smiling and having a good time, his segment ins war is still one of my faves with DL and endles truckdrivers and his mini segment in teddybear crisis is awesome.

not what it was about...although i wouldn't be surprised if he made a comment about that.
all summer sammy would cut the line and mid-load the rope tow at windells (only diggers get to cut and NO ONE midloads, it breaks the lift). never listened to any of us coaches, cause he's pro you know...
brady finally called him out about it while wallisch and some ill snowboarders waited in line. sammy didn't take kindly to that.

Sounds like a typical person, who might be very warm and nice to many people, but being good at something has gotten some piss to slosh around in his head instead of his bladder, causing further drama about things that the person now believes to be entitled to over "normal" people.
