You have to win games to get to the finals, and the Canes did that, so you still have to have some respect for them, but I think that their trip to the finals was made easier by the fact that they were unjustly seeded 3rd. They played easier teams, and had undeserved home ice advantage.

its true. the leafs played horribly and it was all cujo. he finally brought it all together. that team was steadily going downhill throught that game.. but in OT we picked up real nice. but within the first min of OT we could have scored and the leafs didnt take that chance. they played a bit better in ot. but by then the game was lost.

Whoever wins the western conference will probly beat the hurricanes though. Its like some kind of hall of fame playoff series or something. I usually dont care about hockey but i am intirested in this series.
