I would buy a little spot in a mountain town; most likely in Breckenridge, Tahoe, or Whistler. Nothing big or fancy, just something that I can live and chill in when I am not skiing. Then I would purchase some new clothes, and possibly a car (again nothing special, just something that will get me from point A to B). I would then put the rest in the bank, and collect interest off of it. I would also try to invest some of it, hoping for a pay out later. My reasons for saving most of it is so I can live the life of a true skier for as long as possible.

like 3 pairs of good condition 178 anthems so i can ski them forever (favorite park ski ever)
new outerwear

Build a dirty Corrado for a fun summer car, and buy an audi avant for the winter.

Buy a couple vacation rentals that I could make bank off of.

Use the rest of the money along with the income from the rentals to finish my education and then live pretty damn comfortably while hardly working at all and skiing all the damn time.

First off, I'd pay off my parents house and cars.

Then I'd buy a nice house in Cali for my friends and I too live in with a studio for me to produce music and what not and then I'd by a greenhouse and growers licence and a shit ton of alcohol and then see where I end up.

I would attempt to create a 100% sustainable house.

Solar panels
Water well and rain collection
green house
livestock
etc.

Try to maintain current standards of living and free time while living 100% off the grid, which would mean a lot of mechanical automation, hence the need for a million dollars.

Just because the 7d has more autofocus points and more fps DOES NOT mean it is better then the 5d mk II. The 5d's sensor is far superior, and thats what makes the quality of a picture, not the fps or how fast it can autofocus. I have a 7d meow and would take a 5d mk II over it any day. Sure, autofocus and fps may be important to some people, but any pro will tell you its the sensor that makes the biggest difference.

Dont tell someone they need to read up on something that is 100% opinion based, depending on the photographer. That would be like telling someone they don't know anything about photography because they like Nikon over Canon.

Did I say one was better than the other? No, thats what Kangbang did. More autofocus points and 8fps were not even remotely the features I was thinking of when I posted. Some people like a ff sensor and the top quality you can get, and some people like a cropped sensor and 60p. Simply saying "5D > 7D" is wrong since both have strengths and weaknesses.
