Drop B (guitar thread)

what are some good metal bands that tune in drop B? tuning isnt really a big deal, but when i cover songs I like to play them with the recording, and my good guitar has a floyd rose so I can't just change my tunings all willy nilly.
so far i have come up with
-veil of maya
-slipknot
-all shall parish
-some after the burial is playable
-some job for a cowboy

maybe i should be posting this on ultimate guitar or something, but maybe NS can help me out.

i think machinehead use it for some songs. i know their song 'halo' is, at least. you should check it out if you don't know it

I'm a drummer mainly, but here are some that I'm familiar with, for at least parts of their discographies: Sevendust (lots of it), Sepultura, Soulfly, Devildriver, Slipknot, Meshuggah, Devildriver, Scar Symmetry, some In Flames I believe, Fear Factory, maybe some Behemoth, Carcass, Soilwork, Nevermore, Dream Theater, Steve Vai, Arch Enemy, Periphery, Chimaira, Five Finger Death Punch, and Unearth. I think some of these may be B standard though instead of drop B (not sure if that works for you). And as a said, for many of these bands they may only have some songs tuned that low, as drop C seems FAR more common. If you like Sevendust though, they're probably your best bet. And I forgot Deftones, I think they have some in drop B as well.

I play a seven string with a floyd rose, as do many bands like Smile Empty Soul, so there is already a low B string. Not heavy metal, but some songs are good. Just Tune it, then play around with it and make up some cool riffs.
