Afterbangs

Are they really as bad as people say they are? Do they get waterlogged? Are they that heavy?

they r heavy they chip alot and i dont think mine ever got waterlogged but i didnt like em at all

I love mine! but they do chip alot ( this doesnt really effect the ski) Also my tip separeted from the base at the top but thats a manufactering default so i should be able to get it repaired or warrentyed with the 1 year warrenty... Overall, I cant buy a diffent ski, so flexy easy to spin with and perfect size

I haven't really had any problems with mine. Haven't gotten waterlogged(tho they do get really heavy when the snow is really wet). The paint does chip but really who cares.. Doesn't affect the ski at all. I also have a few edge cracks and i've had mine for about 1.3 south Ontario seasons.(I lap park every time I go skiing) But if you do get em just detune and you shouldn't get too many edge cracks.

when they get heavy because the snow is wet that means they are getting waterlogged. and to op i would personally stay away from them if you hit anything above 40 feet and actually ski. but if you lap rails all day this ski will be perfect.

personally they were literally the greatest skiis i ever owned.......for the first week i rode them. They get noticeablly worse the more you ride them and its true they chip alot. But still they are an excellent ski and its true they are durable as all fuck. In all still a definite buy you get everything huge pop on jumps and extremely forgiving buttery and playful and not to mention absolutely destroy on rails. I've been skiing them for 3 years and im still going hard on em with only the top sheet missing and a few chips here and there.

Looking for skis? BUY THESE!

I have had these amazing skis two years in a row and they are the best skis I've ever rode in every way possible, they aren't heavy at all they are light if anything, and they don't get water logged. The only bad thing that happened to my first pair of afterbangs was that they split really badly due to them overheating on dryslope so if u mostly ski on snow they should be fine. Peace.

couldnt have said it any better, IMO they are made for kids like 13 and younger who think they slay rails and beat on skis, but in reality they dont at all, so to them they seen really durable. if u want a good park ski for somone serious, stay away from afterbangs
