Little confused...are you using "you" in a collective sense, or are you talking to me? I wasn't suggesting that homogenization was a positive thing, exactly the opposite.

I think I do my part in supporting the aspects of skiing that appeal to me by visiting blogs, watching webisodes, buying products suited to my style of skiing, and trying to turn others onto what gets me pumped.
