The squirrel video didn't bother me much, but this is straight fucked up. This woman injects her daughter with Botox so that she can win beauty pageants. The girl is EIGHT, but her mother insists she has wrinkles. I wonder what damage this will do to the girl's little face as she grows and changes? Not to mention the damage done to her psychologically. She's already got it drilled into her head that being beautiful is an entire identity. You're just a little girl, go do little girl things and for god's sake don't be worrying about wrinkles right now. I can't even imagine what she'll be like when she's an insecure 17 year old. Hello, anorexia and whoring around. I honestly think she needs to be taken away from her mother. And I think the most ironic thing about these pageant moms is what they look like. They're waxing their kids' legs and botoxing them, but the moms all look like Sasquatches. Maybe this mom should spend some of the time and money she is spending on botoxing her kid at the gym.

the fucked up part was when the daughter was asked why she does this, and her first response was "...... i dont know". then the mother looked at her and she had to be queued to say oh yeah cause of the wrinkles. so it's obvious that the mom's telling her why she needs to do it and the defenseless daughter just has to go with it cause mommy says so. that's crazy. to convince someone they have to do something for superficial reasons, and even when they dont understand, they just have to believe it because the most influential person in your life tells you it needs to be done. wrong on so many levels. your poor little kid trusts you beyond any doubt, and you go ahead and do that; warp the poor thing's mind and make her feel like the tiniest little things are going to make you ugly and it's unacceptable..

Definitely what sickened me the most. The mom 100% made her do it. "We talked about it. She didn't exactly ask me about it but I know that she was complaining about her face having wrinkles and things like that." This is brutal. Like people have been saying, probably gonna have serious self esteem issues, especially when she's older. Probably be one of those chicks who won't wanna be seen in public without a good layer of makeup on her face, and get a facelift when she's 20.

Oh, he meant I'm being a judgmental bitch. Well, given what this woman is doing and that her main point of defense is "well other pageant moms do it!!! It's a tough world," I make no apologies for believing that she is a shitty, borderline abusive mother. Botox is not appropriate for kids, and we don't even know if it's safe for use in children. Not to mention it's the kind of thing you go to a plastic surgeon for, not the white trash living in the trailer next door. And I'd bet money that she's ordering it online it from some sketchy-as-fuck place in Mexico, and not from a "medical professional" as she claims. And if she IS getting it from a doctor, he needs to have his license revoked immediately.

Apparently you read it while in defense mode. It's cool. Happens all the time.

And no, what worked for me was having a lot of posts in ski gabber and gear talk and happening to know my shit when it comes to skiing. That and being a featured writer on the site (outside of the forum) seems to help as well.
