I love thunderstorms. We've had a couple big ones recently, but only at night. Last night the thunder was so loud it woke me up at like 3 am, and I'm a fucking heavy sleeper. I was pretty surprised.

I FUCKING LOVE THUNDERSTORMS.

So peaceful to me, I always sleep like a baby when it storms for some reason. I especially love the feeling of an imminent storm in the air on a spring day, I can just sit on the porch and drink a few beers and relax as I wait for the rain to start pattering on the roof.

yeah. but most likely even if the house is struck by lightning, the electricity will find it's way into the ground first...

oh and most pipes today are pvc, which do not conduct electricity. so this too will make it safer to shower during the storm.

but anyways, you shouldn't fear getting electrocuted from your tap, lightning will find a ground way before it reaches you .....

i love taking pics of the lightening and watching it come across a lake. flying over them is pretty cool, watching a strike is even more badass (window seats are clutch)

a few weeks ago there was one night where it was like 25 degrees and like constant thunder, with no rain... i just walked around listening to music.

thunder storms are dope although terrifying if anywhere above tree line. I go on this fun hike alot and summit county weather being how it is thunderstorms often come out of nowhere. Anyway i was up near the summit and i just thought it was getting gray but i got to the top and i see a thunder head like less than a mile from me. I shat bricks luckily there is a lightning hole up there otherwise i would have been more than likley toast.

i was sailing through some storms once and the mast was hit by ligthtning. Burned up $10,000 worth of electronics and burned holes through parts of the sails. Pretty scary stuff

thunderstorms are annoying when youre trying to get to sleep.

my parents tell me not to play guitar during lightning storms and shit cause if our house gets hit it'll go through the pickups and kill me.

This. Being above treeline hiking sucks when there is a thunderstorm... so scary. But like it has been said, being on a lake watching thunderstorms or watching them come in is awesome. same goes with the ocean
