Not a haiku, but.....

For Chad

Where is it
I can’t find it
They tell me I will never do it

I sure showed them

I found  it
I felt free
I felt like I was on top of the world

They never believed me
when I told them, they made insane stories
Imaginary people, things
They blew it up

My hopes and dreams as if by dynamite
Until I got proof
I gave them what they wanted

Still, crazy stories about it
I can’t stand it so I had to leave
Here I am no more.
