Hidden Gem on the East Coast

So I have been skiing for over 10 years now in the ny/nj area, a lot of trips to vermont, as this is the best on the east coast, however Sugarbush in Maine is really good to. This last season I went to Blue Mountain in PA which surprisingly was awesome, definitely comparable to Hunter or Windham, which in my opinion are very similar. Does anyone know of any other hidden gems around the east coast/pennsylvania? Im always looking to go somewhere new

wouldnt really call it a hidden gem but i went up to killington for a couple days this season and it was awesome i loved it, ive also heard alot of great things about jay peak

where do you normally go? there's creek, blue, camelback, bear, hidden valley(lol, but i learned to ski there), might be missing one...

mad river for being the shit. no snowboarders, awesome trees, great people that are just really dedicated to the mountain and skiing.

downside is no park, but it's only and issue in really shitty conditions when the woods suck

yes yes, no boarders, and chill people. Also magic mountain in VT. Go their on a pow day (well east coast pow day) it's pretty fun

Ive skied at blue mountain, its fun but I wouldn't want to ski there for a whole season. Creek is my home mountain and its ok, but Id say boulder is prob the most legit mountain in the area and no one knows about it because it has about 200ft of vertical.

sugarloaf's not really a "hidden gem" but i know what you mean. in nh theres black mtn (sick trees and cliffs, sucks when there no fresh snow b/c of the lack of a park) king pine (pretty sick park, not many jumps, awesome rails) or ragged (good park, lots of glades)

Mad river! place is sweet especially when theres fresh snow. and the single chairlift is the most comfortable chairlift i've ever been on.

if u want sticky rails, bumpy lips, and steep and icy landings, a good amount of the time, it is deffs worth drivin all the way to Attitash NH haha.
it rly isn't that bad but it doesn't have the best park in the world

Everyone and there grandmother that has skied park for more than one year knows about JFBB.
Next season I want to hit up Seven Springs. Heard its better than BB. The most beautiful jump I have ever seen in PA.

Theres actually a pretty decent park there now. at one point in the season they had a 50 foot step down and they have a pretty good assortment of rails/boxes. if you ever wanna come down and check it out i can get u a free pass.

get with it. if you want to ride powder on the east go to jay. if you want to ride park for to loon or waterville. all the other places are pretty decent and nice but if you want to get nice with it those are the spots. mt snow can go home and lay down with their foot high flat rails

haha, you know your allowed to hike up that hill for free? seriously. its township owned or something weird and you can actually walk to the top faster than the lift will get you there. i heard they had a good park this year, im actually good friends with the manager, but he quit to become a surf bum. also, sidenote, JFBB is so overrated IMO. there jumps were on point 2+ years ago, but i feel every year the landings get smaller and the rails get shorter. it was always the place to go for pre and post season, but i would get so bored if that was my home mountain.
