First Urban BANSHEE BUNGEE PARK?!?!

Cannonsburg ski resort in Grand Rapids Michigan says it will have the first bungee park in the midwest...

Never even heard of these, anyone seen, been or have pics of a bungee park?

at the resort? doesnt seem right, because it would be way easier to hit on the mtn in the park..........i dont see the reasoning for it.

ya im not sure...could be on a different spot on the resort...or maybe somewhere no where near the resort...idk, sounds sick tho

its an interesting concept, im not sure if there are certain "natural" man made features around the resort such as wall rides or hand rails that a banchee bungee could be used for, i have been at a rail jam tho, that was using a banchee bungee

Seems like it would be fun to have once or twice during season to demo a bungee, but to have it as a permanent fixture seems like kind of a waste to me. If you're going to a hill you're going because there's a hill there. Having 2 features on a flat section of the property somewhere seems unnecessary to me, like I said before, set it up once or twice a year and make an event out of it.

not a bad idea, with hitting actual urban feats... but i cant see this idea running smoothly whatsoever.

Cannonsburg is just the first of what we are expecting will be about 10 different hills to have a Bungee Park.

The idea here is to provide a small area where dudes can not only check out the Bungee, but can kill some time if waiting for a ride or some of their buddies on the slopes. Also, you don't need to hike the same rails or features on the hill.

It will basically be a permanent rail-jam-like section of the park. There will also be events put on by each mountain, featuring the Bungee Park, where riders can win Bungees and other Schwag.

We are stoked to get this thing going!

Would be sick but too bad they are only opening it in the winter which is stupid because you could go up and hit actual features on the hill. I doubt the banshee bungee park would have the "urban" feel to it.

They are going to set it up at the base of the hill. They are just letting kids get the feel for the bungee park.

Apparently this is going to be the setup.
