Light bindings

inb4 people recommend him a super high DIN binding. save your knees, keep your DIN in the correct range.

I dont know much about bindings but i know that to make them lighter companies usually turn toward plastic instead of metal which makes the binding weaker. So be careful in choosing

How much do you weigh? I'm a fatass and I think I would have a hard time breaking a FKS 140.

Something like a Marker Squire would probably be fine for you.

honestly, binding weight should be a small factor. Get something durable, and reliable. PX12 bindings are amazingly cheap and durable, you can usually find them under 125. Also good, are the Head mojo 15 or tyrolia peak 15. They would also not need replacing as you beef up, and get better at skiing.

i wouldn't recommend markers either along with the salomon z series, as i've had bad experiences with both. what i really notice is the swing weight of the ski, not the true weight, so binding weight isn't really that big a deal to me. salomon sth bindings with the driver toe piece are a solid pick.

Yeah, unless you are like, around 100 lbs I wouldn't get them, clicking in and out of a plastic binding all season is going to wear them down quick no matter how much you weigh or how hard you ride, just something I noticed with my griffons. I would say get the FKS 140 so you can get the durability and safety of the pivot heel.

No, they are expensive, and kinda heavy.

Cheap, light(ish), durable= Mojo 12/15 or maybe just some PX12s.

Any mid-high end binding will be fine, you dont really notice the weight unless its super heavy.

Look PX12- Marker griffon- FKS140 are really good choices.
