Well I've finally decided to upgrade my small flashes from Vivitar's to Nikon's. So I'm trying to sell these excellent condition Vivitar 285HV Flashes as well as including the FlashZebra Pocketwizard/Cybersync/Skyport cable (paid $14+ $3.50 shipping) so you can fire these wirelessly. I've been using these flashes for about a year now and they've been perfect, never had an issue with these misfiring. I would say these are the perfect flashes to start learning off camera flash since these are fully manual and very easy to control. These can be used on your camera as well but you won't be able to use TTL and will have to control them manually. I'm looking to sell 1 for $65Shipped and that includes the FlashZebra cord or sell as a package for $110Shipped anywhere to the US. If you're in Canada it will be extra to ship. Not really looking to split up the flashes from the cords unless I have a buyer for everything. If you have any questions just shoot me a PM.
If you want to just put these on the hotshoe and have the camera control the flash power and exposure, then no. But if you want to buy some PocketWizard's or Cybersync's and put them on a flash stand and trigger them wireslessly, then yes. You can put them on the hotshoe of your camera but you'll have to manually control the flash power and your camera's exposure. These are also the safe version of the 285, the non HV series can fry you camera if you put them on the hotshoe.
