Well Idk what the fuck that means. But if a car going 35 mph hits a car going 35mph the total impact is equivalent to 35mph

but it's an inelastic collision, there's an equation for it. and in no way should a "genious" be needed to figure this out.

obvs answer is -50m/s assuming it is a perfectly inelastic collision.

car has 30000 whatever units of momentum, truck as -80000

combined, there is a momentum of -50000 and a mass of 1000kg, p=mv so v = -50m/s

Its momentum you fool. Velocity is everything.

Just calculate the two momentums, add them, and divide by the total mass.
