That was sick, but as far as big mountain goes, there was not a lot of it in there compared to just big step downs and shit, which, don't get me wrong, are sick, but aren't big mountain.
Ian mcintosh in lost and found blew my mind.
I will offer up a few of my favorites


Sage in under the influence was sick as fuck too, can't find his seggy, but heres 2 lines that blew my mind from the movie:

Shane McConkey in 1999, and There's Something About McConkey.  Some sick straightlines, but also some of the most insane billygoating I have ever seen.  He also klled in in Yearbook, but make sure you check out the extras in that movie.  Shane has lots of footage in the extras that really could have been in the film.

Lots of Seth's segments. 

Eric Hjorleifson in Seven Sunny Days.  One of the best ever.  Lots of tricks off of clffs.  Lots of lines with big cliffs, and the line he finishes his segment off is one of the best descents I have seen.

Many of Sage's segments, but most particularly Under The Influence.  The spine wall he slays in the beginning is as good of a descent as I have ever seen.

Kent Kreitler in The Prophecy, and also in Reverance.  He does not get enough credit.  One of the best skiers ever, who helped pave the way for the guys now.  Great at every facet of skiing, but particularly big mountain.

JT Holmes in Ski Movie 3.  He and Seth have several double straightlines which are crazy.

Jeremy Nobis, in just about any of the old TGR movies.  A truly mind blowing skier, with sick straightlines and crazy spine walls.

Daron Rahlves in In Deep.  Some crazy lines, that show just how great of a skier he is.  Someone who is both one of the best downhillers ever, AND a dominant big mountain skier.....He just might be the best skier on the planet.  I don't think any of the other great racers have destroyed big lines the way he has.

Henrik Windstedt and Cody Townsend in The Way I See It.  If you have not seen it, check out the Salomon Freeski TV episodes about that segment.  Some great skiing.

There are plenty of others.  If you have not seen it, check out the movie Waiting Game.  It has some insane big mountain footage, with some great shots from Zach and Reggie Crist, two of the best skiers out there.

Very sick.  Thank you for posting.  That guy is throwing down hard!

I loved the shot of Miles Clark too.  Miles is an insane skier.  He has posted some of the best edits I have seen on TGR.

Miles has an edit of him skiing at Squaw, where he skis McConkey's/Eagle's Nest, which just might be the sickest line at Squaw.  When snow fills out the face on McConkey's/Eagle's, it gets to around 65 degrees!  I'm not kidding.  If you don't believe me, consult Squawllywood, the Gaffney's will set you straight.  After hitting McConkey's, he does a big flip off a cliff, then goes down and skis the middle knuckle.  It is a line that the majority of the pro skiers out there would not even be close to handling.

You are correct.  And there are many Squaw pass holders who can out ski park rat pros on that sort of terrain.  I would say the majority of the guys who do urban and park shit would not handle McConkey's/Eagle's Nest.  Those are the pros I was talking about.  I'm not talking about big mountain guys like Sage.  I'm sure he could ski it just fine.

Do you think there are only 20 who can ski it?  And 'fairly aggressively?'  Most people that take that line ski it pretty slowly.  I have seen people straightline the area, but most people who handle it ski it cautiously, with the side hop in the middle.  I don't know if I call that aggressive, although it is silly to argue about semantics.  The only straightline I've seen that really looked good was Mike Wilson's.  I don't know how many guys have done it that smoothly. 

Do you consider Robb Gaffney's descent in 1999 to be 'aggresive?'  I don't know if I would call it that, but it is great skiing.

Saying there are 20 Squaw pass holder that can ski it actually validates what I said.  For a mountain with the talent of Squaw to only have 20 guys who can ski it well......That is pretty rowdy terrain.
