Just eat more and take pure whey protein. I took creatine for 2 years in highschool. It's really not worth the money.
I've taken it occasionally before going to the gym and it definitely gives you a noticeable boost. If your on a strict routine, getting enough sleep, not doing sports outside, drinking enough water, don't mind the frequent pissing, and horrible shits, then go for it.
As for me I often have to skip gym days cause of random shit, pull all nighters for exams, don't feel like pissing every 15 minutes, don't want to take painful shits, and like to go out drinking as many nights as possible.
It all comes down to the routine. If you have a solid routine (I would say you've kept your current routine for 1-2 months) plus diet, excercise, sleep, etc. and your not pounding beers every weekend (and thursday and random days of the week) then theres no reason not to add creatine cause it will help.
Then again your 16, it probably feels like your old, but your not so maybe you shouldn't put that stuff into your body. If you lift hard for a few years without creatine by the time your 18 or 19 you'll be really set so I wouldn't really worry about taking it just cause of your age.
