What wax for the off season

Whats a good was to throw on my skis just to preserve my bases during the off season?

Special wax is available but a warm wax works fine, just don't scrape it off.

yea i know not to scrape it. i didnt know if there was something better than yellow(warm) wax to do the trick

i ski dry slope most of the time cause i live in england and i just use normal wax...

You can get actual storage wax meant just for storage but I would just take the advice of the people before me and use a softer, warmer temp wax. The softer, the more it was absorb. In my opinion, storage wax is a complete waste of money unless you are going to use it on a shop's rental fleet that won't be used for years.
